Kia Ora beautiful ones ✨
What an extraordinary few weeks it has been in our Red Tent community.
On November 8th we gathered for International Red Tent Day, and the circle was nothing short of phenomenal. Together we dreamed into a world we long for — one shaped by compassion, connection, and the quiet revolution happening through the next generation. Listening to the hopes and visions shared in that room reminded me, yet again, of the power of women sitting together in truth.
We began in circle with the intention to celebrate Nourishment - the food that sustains us, the stories that shape us, and community that holds us. We shared the ingredients we desire for a thriving tribe, what we contribute and what we receive.
Then we told the stories of the food we'd brought to share. We gathered around tables filled with colour, flavour, and love — each dish carrying a story, a memory, a thread of someone’s life.
From grandmother’s and mothers recipes to Madam Da Vinci's compote, to childhood memories, the food was deeply nourishing — but it was the stories that truly fed us. Stories of resilience, loss, laughter, migration, motherhood, friendship, and finding belonging again...
Stories that reminded us how connected we are — even when our paths are wildly different.
There were tears, there was laughter, and above all, there was a feeling of homecoming. Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared from the heart, and helped weave such a beautiful tapestry of memory, nourishment, and connection.
May we keep feeding each other — not just with food, but with presence, kindness, and truth.

📸 International Red Tent Day 2026
Immediately after, I spent three days at Camp Courage — held in the raw, tender presence of widows and children navigating life after losing a parent. It touched me deeply. To witness such depth of grief, strength and love in one space has rearranged something inside me. It reminded me that life is achingly short… and that authenticity, courage and connection are not optional — they are essential.
Which brings us to this Sunday’s circle:
🔥The Power of Authenticity with Cecile 🔥
Our theme continues to thread itself through grief, loss and the wake-up calls they bring. When life shakes us, it invites us into realness. Into dropping the masks. Into showing up as we truly are.
After so many years of sitting with hundreds of women in the Red Tent, you’d think I might become “used to it”… the rituals, the softness, the stories, the holding. But the truth is — I never do. Every single time a woman steps through that doorway, I look at her face… and I see it. That subtle exhale. That flicker of recognition. That ancient remembering of what it feels like to be completely safe.
There is something profound that happens when women come together without competition, comparison, or performance. When we lay down the armour. When we stop trying to be anything other than who we are in that moment. When we allow ourselves to be simply… women. In the pure, quiet essence of our own sacredness.
The Red Tent continues to remind me — again and again — that connection is not something we create; it is something we return to. Something that lives inside the bones of every woman. A homecoming.
And every time, I am humbled.
Every time, I am grateful.
Every time, I remember too.
We hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a nourishing, grounding, and very human afternoon.

And then… the event I’ve been most excited about all year:
🌍 Women of Earth – Possibility Management with Anne-Chloé, 14 December 🌍
Women of Earth is about empowering each other to become radically honest, radically loving and be a bridge. A global movement of Women graduating from Patriarchy, walking beyond the edge of modern civilization and inventing bridges to regenerative culture, Archiarchy.
Who are you when you are not merely trying to survive?
You might be a Woman of Earth ready to find a village in which to thrive.
Some of you know that I’ve heard about Possibility Management for years from my friend Camila — and this year I finally said yes. I completed the two-day Building Communication Bridges training with Andrew a couple of months ago, and it changed me in ways I’m still discovering.
So to now welcome Anne-Chloé Destremau Ōtautahi Christchurch, and to have Red Tent Aotearoa chosen as the platform to bring Possibility Management to our community… I feel genuinely honoured. This work is powerful, catalytic, and so needed. My hope is that every woman who feels the whisper of “something more” inside will join us. It’s a beautiful chance to pause before the Christmas rush, nourish your inner fire, and step into the change you want to see.
