Kia ora dear souls, So apparently it's almost June. Wait, what? How did that happen? I'm still writing the May newsletter! I'd love to tell you what we've got coming up in the Red Tent and at Conscious Consulting NZ, so please read on.... What a busy time it's been, we moved house, then went to NZ Spiritfest and I'm still catching my breath... We've been settling into our new home and although there are still many boxes to unpack we've never been happier. It feels like it's almost time to start hosting some events here and will begin with some breathwork sessions in the upcoming weeks. I've realised that our strength lies within our relationships and having deep authentic connections built in a sense of belonging is what gives me peace and joy. Time and time again I keep coming back to the solid connection of my intuition, and realising that our built-in navigation system never gets it wrong. I'm truly loving the community that is forming through these wonderful events being run at Red Tent Aotearoa and at Conscious Consulting NZ events I hope to see you at one (or many) soon! I recently met some of you wonderful souls at NZ Spiritfest and am excited to connect with you again in person at our upcoming Facilitator Training in September and maybe if it is calling you the newly announced online Graceful Leadership Mentor Training that starts on 19th July. I've also been called to do a tour of Aotearoa in the spring, holding regional Red Tents in several towns. Studies have found that the act of forgiveness can reap huge rewards for your health, lowering the risk of heart attack; improving cholesterol levels and sleep; and reducing pain, blood pressure, and levels of anxiety, depression and stress.
The negative consequences of not forgiving have been documented in studies that show that it can lead to the emotional pain of anger, hate, hurt, resentment, bitterness, and so on, and as a consequence can create health issues, affect relationships and stop us from experiencing the freedom that forgiveness enables.
